This July, the Luscofusco Quartet took part in the Guadix International String Quartet Seminar, working closely with Jonathan Brown, Cibrán Sierra and Antonio Gervilla. It meant a lot to the quartet to have the seminar take place in the home region of one of its members: a real source of pride for all four.
Beyond the hours of coaching and honest, eye-opening feedback, the real highlight was the time spent with the other quartets: sharing ideas, swapping stories, and just having a great time together.
The quartet sends a heartfelt thank you to Antonio for his attentiveness, kindness and warmth throughout the week, and is already looking forward to crossing paths with many of the other quartets again.
